We look at them in through the window.
People who are at home, leading their lives, unaware, unacting. Lit as in a theatre, each gesture gains universal meaning. We peek in, suspecting that they live wiser than us.
Objects, witnesses to other people’s lives, are a proof that it keeps going even when unobserved, although sometimes we believe that when we leave – it all stops. But maybe the world continues, without us, and all we can do is to look at it through a window.
