(Suitable for beginners and intermediate)
This 3 day course offers an introduction to the basic workings and techniques of the digital camera and will orientate students around contemporary image making, exploring image construction and composition. Field trips within the city will be an integral part of these classes, using the college and the city as sites for image-making. Presentations on photographic themes will take place within the college.
Roseanne Lynch graduated from Napier College, Edinburgh in 1984 and is a practicing artist, exhibiting nationally and internationally. She holds a Masters (by Research) and is a lecturer at CIT CCAD and Cork School of Architecture.
Pádraig Spillane is a practicing visual artist and exhibition-maker, and lectures at CIT CCAD.
