Life Drawing in 5 sessions with Aoife Desmond
This course is suitable for all levels; beginners, improvers or practicing artists. The aim is to create a supportive and engaging environment where participants can explore and expand on the basic principles of life drawing with an artist’s model over a series of Tuesday evenings. The course will cover line, gesture, weight, form, colour and movement. Works on paper will range from quick sketch works to longer more considered poses. The course will build towards each participant developing their drawing language in relation to the human form and presenting completed works on the final longer Saturday session. Some basic drawing materials will be provided but participants are advised to also bring their own and will receive a suggested materials list.
