Culture night is nearly here! We hope you will find time to enjoy some of the exciting events scheduled throughout the city on Friday September 18th.
Cork Photo will be exhibiting works by Jed Niezgoda, Izabela Szczutkowska and this years People’s Choice winner Colin Aherne at Counihans Bar, Pembroke Street from 8pm – 11.30pm exhibition continues until the 9th of October.
After opening the exhibition Friday we will be heading out to Cork Ignite, which kicks off at 9.15pm on the facade of Cork’s College of Commerce.

Japanese photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto’s works will be exhibited in the Crawford observatory from 11am to 8pm. A show not to be missed!

Photography exhibition featuring the travels of Irish Photographer Luke Feighery from 6pm in Alchemy Cafe & Bookstore.
Camden Palace Hotel presents a showcase of the wide variety of Art practices, Cultural & Community Activities, Theatre, Live Music, Open Studios, Performance & Workshops that take place on site – from 4pm.
Cork Artists Collective will host an open studios event and invite the public to meet with artists currently in studio. Works include painting, sculpture, sound art, video art, photography and mixed media. Live events by Catherine Harty, Paul Hegarty and Mick O’Shea. 5pm – 7pm.
