Situated in the beautiful surrounds of Fitzgerald Park, Cork Photo Gallery features artists working with photography and related media. With engaging exhibitions, artist commissions, historic archives, and creative workshops; there is always something to get inspired by.
We welcome submissions for our annual programme and regularly hold open calls. The Cork Photo team also welcomes proposals for collaborative projects and commissions.

Workshops & Events:
We have teamed up with a wide range of artists and local businesses to provide an exciting array of quality workshops. We are adding to the programme all the time so keep checking back.
The festival began in 2014 as an artist led initiative, highlighting local photographers in venues across Cork City. The open theme and inclusive approach adopted in the first year continues, allowing everyone to take part. We embrace experimentation and encourage viewers to seek out and explore. The Cork Photo team curates exhibitions by both local and international artists. We bring together independent galleries, arts organisations, individuals and collectives all wishing to exhibit and celebrate photography.
From 2018 the festival is biennial, taking place during April. We have a number of festival hubs secured throughout the city and look forward to delivering another exciting program.
Listings and submissions for Cork Photo Festival 2018 are now open.
The Cork Photo library is a non circulating reference library of photographic publications. Featuring a wide range of traditionally published and self published photobooks, magazines, exhibition catalogues, zines and books exploring photographic theory.
Every exhibition you see workshop you attend and purchase you make helps us to grow. We take pride in providing engaging experiences, opportunities for learning and support to local artists. We are a volunteer led organisation and you can find out how to get involved here.
